Post by flyer17 » Thu Apr 27, 2017 12:15 am

guys

recently i have the idea of make a massive improvment for ysflight tooking place on a near but advanced future

something will be changed, so if you have ideas or recomendations please say

to do list
-less green on the land and grey-bue for water
-the sky goes to be a bit darker blue
-every aircraft and ground object will be replaced by his futuristic equivalent
-the fuel will be replaced by electric energy
-the sounds will be replaced by futuristic aircraft sounds
-the weapon model will be replaced with futuristic weapons, flares, missiles etc

right now that's all but soon probably will be more

TBH, it's a great idea, but sounds very difficult. You would be creating multiple new models, modifying the DAT's for models already made, and would need to work out kinks, along with making new maps, structures, and a sound pack. As I said, it's a cool idea. Best of luck!

Well, unfortunately i'm not the best with modding, and i'm novice with repainting. I'd love to help if I could, but this community has many skilled modders who can help.

*Reads the whole idea of FUTURISTIC airplanes for a flight simulator that was meant for things other than just "aviation" from a parallel universe*

to do list
-less green on the land and grey-bue for water
Already available with mods. There are even releases of improvements of stock maps, primarily Hawaii.
-the sky goes to be a bit darker blue
Possible with OpenYS
-every aircraft and ground object will be replaced by his futuristic equivalent
Already available with mods
-the fuel will be replaced by electric energy
Reduce fuel consumption rate in the .dat
Just like SARF/NUN
-the sounds will be replaced by futuristic aircraft sounds
Just replace the sound file in sound folder with what you want to hear.
-the weapon model will be replaced with futuristic weapons, flares, missiles etc
Already available with mods
