Phlying Phantom!

Post by plunderbird »

Just read in the latest Aviation News (Oct edition) that Hawker Hunter Aviation, a group based at R.A.F. Scampton in the UK, will be getting an F-4. To quote the article, (it's going on about the static show by them) "The Phantom is a ground instructional airframe, but a second example is about to receive an overhaul in Germany and will fly on the UK military register."

So it looks like the UK will have a Phantom in the air again soon.
Phantoms Phorever! :)

(Italics, and bold added)
Fliped out of the arena, again! :(
