There's a line of storms and rain just barely hitting northwest TN right now, and I suspect we'll get what Darkwalker's got this afternoon. For now, it's mostly rain. Temps have been in the 80s for the last several days.

Absolute shit here; three thunderstorm warnings these past three days. I don't mind thunderstorms, but the rain is a problem. Lake Ontario is already swelling as is right now from the last dose of rain, and that was from weeks ago.

It looks like our forecast shows sun until Thursday. Then storms. Rain + heat = mosquitoes. :(

Latest observations from my viewing area, courteousy of the WS 4000 Emulator.

Viewing_Area_Conditions.png

Currently 95F where I am, with a dewpoint of 72 giving us a heat index of 104F. But there are storms slowly drifting from the north toward us. That should bring the temps down some followed by a definite increase in humidity. If it does rain though, at least I don't have to water the plants tomorrow, heh.

I am hoping for rain. We've had highs in the 90s for days and we're starting to melt.

It got dark and a little cool for a few minutes. Just dark enough that the street lights came on and crickets started chirping.

^Hope your house is fine! I've been watching the news and the videos/images are insane. Stay safe.

We're on the flip side of all the stuff going on in SE TX and as a result, getting NE winds and unusually pleasant for this time of year. Highs in the low-mid 80s (we should be in the upper 90s) and relatively lower humidity.

Yeah, once the general area of the low pressure hole made its way out of Texas the heat and humidity and low air quality returned to "normal". The worst of it (the actual storm) has made it out of here and we were able to see the sun again. Now the real problem begins with the ground already oversaturated with water and rivers, bayous, dams and levees overflowing and flooding already flooded areas. I haven't been to work since Sunday and I'm going to attempt to go in today provided the roads I take in aren't closed or flooded over. It will be the only day I work all week if I do. And then I'm off again for vacation until next work week on the 10th.

^Yeah, they mentioned that although the water is receding in most areas, in some it will actually get worse because of dam releases or overflowing levees. Not to mention the runoff from 9 trillion gallons that Harvey dumped. A local meteorologist said that is equivalent to the Empire State Building being filled with water more than 33,000 times. Crazy stuff.

Enjoying some peaceful rain today, without hail, damaging winds and/or tornadoes. A novelty in the Southern Plains :P

The season of temperature swings has begun here. From the upper 90s last week to the low 60s yesterday for high temperatures. Must be Fall.

Same as above, except from the low 90s yesterday to upper 60s today with a driving north wind. Probably the last time we have temps in the 90s this year. Got some good rain though with the frontal passage overnight.

The weather is pretty gloomy in my place for now...cloudy, no sun (because it's evening in my place), dark...and it will remain the same for tomorrow.
The A380 is ahead of its time. With the resilient passenger traffic growth for times to come (reference from Airbus's Global Market Forecast), plus congested airports, the A380 could not be ignored.
