I am going to swallow my pride and ask for help here.For a couple of months, I have been trying to remember how to pack a 7-zip file for archiving my projects for YS to no avail, could someone give me a quick refresher.Makes me feel like such an ass for asking

Do you mean right click > Send To > Compressed File?

As for 7Zip specifically, if you install WinRar you can choose with it to compress to most formats.
It's donation-ware, and will warn you to pay but you don't have to as it won't force you out.
So you totally could pay for it if you want to.
But I'm with Pat. I've always used the right click -> send to zip method.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Gunny select all the files you want to archive with 7zip and then right click - 7zip - add to archive. Then you will have the options regarding which format you want and how compressed you want to make it
