I decided making a thread dedicated to my projects may be in order before I spam all the other (possibly) related threads with my project updates.

This may be fairly inactive, but when I'm (infrequently) working on projects you'll see it here. So here's the first installment.
Project Peterbilt
-New Exhaust Stacks
-New Fenders
-Added Mirrors
-Worked Out Light Animation
-New Tail Lights
-Added Sleeper and Panels
-Added Window Trim
-New Viser

Did a minimal amount of interior work, but the big mile marker is that I've got wheels that turn with rudder inputs as well as spin as you drive.

And now a sore throat is overtaking me and I've found the best escape is in slumber, so....
Peace!

These things, they're gonna need a good map of their own.

Who can tell me what this aircraft is? (Just to make sure it actually looks like what it's supposed to

)
Is this something you guys would wanna see as an addon? It kinda started as just a personal project, but if it's something some of y'all would consider airworthy I'd be happy to release it.

It's supposed to be a Super Cub, but it's not perfect. If anyone would like to fine tune the .DAT file for me I would be very thankful. I think have it pretty close, but I'm not a .DAT editing genius and I feel like some of the drag factors are a little off. If anyone is confident they can nail it down please PM me and I'll send you the model.

Hello again, folks! I promised an explanation of my three year absence. Not that any of you care, but maybe it will interest two people. Anyway, in Sept of 2018 I made a temporary move to Pennsylvania for 15 months to volunteer my time at a retreat where we hosted events for folks. The 6-8 months before I left were packed full, essentially kicking me out of the YSF world for the time being. At the end of my time in PA, I was asked to serve as assistant dean of men at a Bible school in Arkansas and so after 6 weeks as a dean and another 6 weeks as a student myself, I finally made it back to the Mountain State in April of 2020 where managed to start a COVID-permissible job, working by myself painting and roofing storage buildings. This past summer was full of work and planning with my fiancé for our November wedding. So that concluded my crazy 3ish years off the YSFHQ "grid". Now I'm back, not to blow the place up, but simply to try to wrap up the Peterbilt project and stop by every once in a while to see what's happening. I may drop a project now and then over the next few years, just to keep my skills intact. I enjoy watching the activity from the sidelines and I hope I haven't bored anyone to death with this little exposition. And here's a picture of my lovely better half and I.
Later, y'all!

Congrats to you both!

And nice C-10 pickup! YSFHQ's doors are always open, glad to have you in the community.

This is the flagship model in progress. New fenders, cab is chopped, frame has been lowered, new custom cut wheels made, new tanks coming, new stack design; she's gonna be the real deal!
