Worst airplane

Post by Not1011 »

What would be, in your opinion, the worst plane ever created?
I did not sell very well, so Lockheed killed me. I'm the reason it doesn't make airliners anymore.

Random stuff:
1. They ain't "sharklets", like Turbofan said.
2. The Tu-114 should really go back into service in a redesigned form.
3. The L-1011 should also return, too.
4. My posts are repeatedly deleted on the AM3 forum.
5. Concorde must return!
6. Fegelein can never die, even when Hitler himself tries to kill him. (Downfall parodies)
7. Embraer should restart production of the EMB-110 and EMB-120, as those are my two favourite prop planes.

This could be interesting.

I'l go with the MD-83 for the fatal T-tail stabiliser flaw that killed 88 in Alaskan Airlines Flight 261.

I'd go for something like the F7U Cutlass.

From the perspective of an airline passenger, I would say the Comet, due to the defects related to metal fatigue discovered after it was first produced. It was the last (only?) jet airliner to feature square windows.

Side note: I thought this was going to be about YSFlight airplanes. In which case I would have dug around to try and remember which plane it was, but there was one that caused strange error messages (some negative number for something) for all other players in a multiplayer server, and it was so annoying!
I'm back.

The Hughes H-3 Hercules, Spruce Goose, or as I like to call it, the almost flying white elephant.

The Christmas Bullet. I've seen a lot of arguments for worst airplane, but that's one that I've found sufficiently compelling.
