[DEC 29] Ice Planet Pod Race (YSCAS)

Neocon wrote: Yep, right now we're going to say it will be the 29th at 10 AM Central Time (4 PM GMT). We will be flying aircraft from Zak's recent Star Wars pack (Thanks for getting that out early!), first to race around the course, and then we will have a battle royale using Star Wars fighters.
Get Zak's Star Wars pack HERE.

Get Ice Planet Race HERE.

Get my ground objects pack HERE.

The route will be decided before the race. We may do Route A, then do Route B-B1-C2, but when everybody joins we'll discuss it more.

Thanks for posting the details Pat! Should be a fun one :). Btw, on which of the courses are we flying for the race?

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

We'll talk about that before the race.

And the results are in:

1st: Blyatmir, 2nd: Indy, 3rd: Turbofan, 4th: Patrick (Neocon), 5th: Lt. Owen (DNF)

I will upload the saved game file for others to look at. There was some question as to whether some pilots got every halo, but as long as everyone was "close", it was accepted. Lt. Owen was doing really well considering that he didn't have the ground objects installed and thus couldn't see them on his end. ;) I've been missing the days of YS Racing, and I hope to do more races like this in the future.

As for the Deathmatch Battle Royale at the end, I got zero kills and multiple deaths, as is expected, but it was still fun.

Thanks to everyone who joined the event, and congratulations to the winners.
