Eddie Van Halen died today. He and Alex did the song at the end of Twister, which I always thought was a good way to end the movie.

I did wonder about that track at the end of the movie when I heard it the few times I saw it. Interesting, did not know it was the Van Halen brothers who wrote this.


I do like the intros Van Halen did on some of its songs, it certainly had instrumental talent as well. Especially like the intro to "I'll Wait."

This came up in my Spotify Discover Weekly, the title caught my eye and once the chorus came through I realized I've heard this song before but never knew who sang it. Catchy tune!

I just saw that Charlie Pride has died. Another of the great stars of country music history is gone, but his music is still here. This is one of my favorite songs of his.

There are two or three different versions of this song by Three Dog Night from what I know, but I like this one best. The drums are great.
