Are these YSFlight screenshots?

Post by Eric »

I was reading Declassified spacecrafts and orbital weapons of the USSR – Russia and came across the following images for something called the "Russian Aerospace Plane":

They seem to be some sort of 3D model renderings, possibly from a flight sim game. The model doesn't seem to be using textures, just painting of individual polygons, and those horizon colors are a little similar to the ones we have on some maps.

I wonder, is this some sort of YS addon that had screenshots taken of it for the article, or are those images not even from YSFlight to begin with? Thoughts?

The shadows are too clean to be YS. Even The 2018 OGL2 shadows are really blocky. The horizon gradation is eerily similar though

I can't speak on these specific pictures...but I have run into a handful of YS screenshots, logos, and emblems that have found themselves into articles due to writers not clicking the link to the image they found on Google.
