While not the most famous aircraft of its time or place in history, the Junkers Ju 52 "Iron Annie" has seen it all in its nearly century-long life in the air, from flying passengers in Lufthansa's service, to carrying military cargo of the Third Reich, to even operating as one of the Luftwaffe's medium bombers in WWII. Despite having entered flying service in the early 1930s, a handful of Ju 52s remain airworthy to this day, including one example operated by Lufthansa for special charter flights.
