Re: [MISC] YSPS (Re-Release)
If anyone fancies giving it a go. You need to host a server on port 7914, launch the app (set config first if you want to change the default).
Then clients can connect via the usual 7915.
Adds in some extra features, such as additional commands:
/fuel gives you the amount of fuel burned,
/distance shows how far from your start point you are.
There is a bunch more functionality, viewable in the help pdf included, and I think it interacts with the old serverlist functionality, which logged flight times etc
Code: Select all
on the server: YSPS_test_server (86.27.207.160)

Exploring the old server list it had some really cool functionality, including for civ airlines a feature to record profits based off of flight times of it's pilots.
And of course the total flight times, which I had recorded in my sig, but that functionality seems to have broken now, leaving me with an empty sig! It should look like this!
(Although my favourite plane isn't an A4.... it was just the default one while I was testing....)
Had (has) some really cool functionality! It'd be cool to have similar stats now, maybe it exists, does OpenYS do something similar?
No idea, but VincentWeb did some awesome stuff.
Some of the excellent late 00s signitures.
