sucsessful download but some weird errors

Hello, i have downloaded the ysflight on windows but after i downloaded it and opened the software a error popped up saying that it cannot read aim-9 pattern. what does this mean? can i not fly? please help

can you share a screenshot of the error that you get? Also what version of YSFlight did you download? 2015XXXXX, 2012XXXXX, 2018XXXX, etc

I've seen this error once before...

...and it was because the person was trying to run the YS executable after moving it outside of the YS folder, resulting in this:

Make sure you've extracted and organized your files correctly. YS won't work unless it's in its proper folder.
