Airport textures for the YSFLIGHT scenery editor.
Textures for your scnedit airports, it includes:
Various runway textures with or without markings (rwy markings not accurate) and skid marks.
Various taxiway textures no markings.
Various round and squared helipad texures with and without nets.
A few concrete platform textures for your airports and that's it .
Works on the latest version of scnedit.exe, make sure you are not using an older version with no support for textures before usage.
ONLY TEXTURES. These textures are for texturing runways, taxiways, helipads, and airport platforms in your own maps inside the YSFLIGHT map editor (scnedit.exe), they are only textures not working areas nor premade runways in scnedit.
For better accuracy I recomend using the unmarked naked textures included in-download and complement them with Decaff's airport markings found on this same forum. more FAA compliant... Or lay out your own markings depending on which airport you are depicting, hence the naked runways included for your convenience. In case accuracy is not a main concern, then simple premarked runway textures are included for your fictional airports
You are completely free to repaint-resize this textures, and make your own ysflight maps or derivative textures, as well as share them to the ysflight community as free downloadable maps, or as free downloadable repainted textures for the YSFLIGHT map editor.
However you are not licensed to sell them in any fashion or form anywhere.
Do not share to other game communities unrelated to YSFLIGHT or use as textures in other games, because they are "ONLY & EXCLUSIVE TEXTURES FOR THE YSFLIGHT SIMULATION SOFTWARE".
That's it!!, have fun!!!

Re: Airport textures for the YSFLIGHT scenery editor.
EDIT: Also included center skid marks runway textures (no markings) below.
Forgot to make them hence were not included so here they are:
Coming soon on my to do list: Tileable non squared terrain textures with complex organic outlines (low storage size). What for? >>> hopefully to achieve terrain painting in scenedit, using a decal overlay technique for scnedit users. the goal is to have small storage size textured maps by using small .png decal textures as a sort of brush like the ones used in photoshop.

1024x1024,1024x512,512x512,512x256,256x256,256x128,128x128,128x64,64x64,64x32,32x32,32x16...
WONT WORK

Re: Airport textures for the YSFLIGHT scenery editor.
Thanks comrade ... Taking note!!!.
So far haven't had any problems with the resolutions but you never know ...
Should you need to resize these runway textures to match a desired resolution: Use a nearest neighbor algorithm when resizing those that have sharp centerlines or markings because >>> bilinear, mitchell, lanczos and the likes methods of resampling tend to create blurry edges, whereas nearest makes sharp edges on lines and rectangular markings. Also when adding a texture in scnedit you can configure it as nearest.
Sample test map with a few of the textures : preview:

Re: Airport textures for the YSFLIGHT scenery editor.
works in YSFlight only with resolutions like 1024x1024 1024x512 512x256 ... At other hand GeForce 7300 don't have any problems with any resolution. It seems that is just a GPU related issue.Your response actually made me to check different cards and figure this out.Thank you!
