A loud and clear "aloha" from us at VCAP Aerobatics to you, the YSFlight community, as we are very excited to announce the 2024 Tropic Thunder Airshow on September 28th! Taking place at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in beautiful Oahu, Hawaii, Tropic Thunder 2024 will see the YSAF Thunderbirds headlining a day full of smoke, full of noise, and full of action in the skies over Honolulu, as we celebrate 25 storied years of the one and only YSFlight Simulator. Get yourself a camping chair, an umbrella, and a Cheeseburger in Paradise, as we cap off the summer season with one of the best aerial events of the year!

Want to take part in performing in the Tropic Thunder Airshow? If so, just fill out the questionnaire below, and post it as a reply to this thread! Upon approval, your entry will be added to the schedule in due time. Solo performers are limited to entering with a maximum of two (2) solo displays. However, formation or multi-ship displays are unlimited and highly encouraged.

These are a special part of the show in which all participants, performers and spectators alike, can take part and fly. For this year's event over Honolulu, our mass flight will be before the show:
-Hot Air Balloon Mass Flight (PRE-SHOW) - Before the show begins, the server will be unlocked, and all participants will be allowed to fly around the airspace in hot air balloons.
