You can already edit the clouds by specifying a .srf in the SLDCLOUD section of a .yfs, either as a replay, mission, or linked to a map

Ok, I'll have a look & gain some knowledge.
Ultimately, I was thinking in a future version of YSF, you could create a new flight & click on the environment tab where you could at least decide the height, if not the thickness, of solid/flat clouds together with the overcast layers.
I also notice they are only in the vicinity of where you initially start your flight.
Just a thought.
Editing .ysf's will do for now.

More then two years passed since source code has been released.
What are the new game features planned for YSCE?
Any news?

Has anybody found a fix for wire frame issue?

Things are going slowly. We're still in the process of code familiarization. There have been a few optimizations, and a couple speculative branches to try some new weapon behaviour, all of which is accessible on Github (though you have to compile it yourself).

We're hoping to have a first release with bug fixes and performance improvements sometime in 2025

I vaguely remember the wireframe being part of debug mode. If you switch VisualStudio from compiling Debug to Release, that might fix it

Unfortunately does not compile without wire frame bug in Release mode.Tried vs2015,
vs2022,win7,win10,Debian GCC,Debug,Release.Got the same bug. Soji compiled it somehow in 2018 version.Does somebody compiled it without that bug? Am I the only
one loser around?

Try compiling YSCE and see if that fixes it https://github.com/YSCEDC/YSCE
