Game Crashes while Browsing Aircraft on Combat/Endurance mode

Post by Silver-Y »

I'm using the latest build YSFlight, Opengl2 executable. the game keep crashing when I spend too long browsing around aircraft in any combat mode (or so far from what I've observed). Is it a sign of the game runs out memory because I do own many high detailed mods? I've been playing YSFlight since 20 years ago and I'm using the same YSFlight (with all the addons I've been collecting that long too) I've been using since then but I've never experienced any crash during aircraft selection before switching to 20181124 build.

My hardware specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
16GB RAM
RTX 3070

Current versions of YS (2015, 2018) crash if RAM usage exceeds ~1.5GB. YS also doesn't unload aircraft models from RAM when in the aircraft selection screen. With HD aircraft, you only have to scroll through a dozen aircraft before you hit the crash limit
