Not yet.
I believe there's a plugin that the Japanese WW3 server uses that can allow players to land on player controlled carriers, but off that server it is not possible.

The extra seats idea could be cool, then you could have VA's with co pilot, and passengers who look out the window. You could TS it so you have a server, a ATC channel and in a seperate tab, so you can monitor both at once, a Flight -_-_-_- channel. then you could chat with ATC and your copilot/flight officer, and in ANOTHER tab, you could have Flight -_-_-_- passengers channel, letting paseengers talk and the pilot( and CP and FO) could talk to the passengers....WAY COOL.
i want this idea in plaCE!!!!!
I have a secret to tell you...

one thing would be awsome if you could make flight plans by drawing them out on a map of the map your flying on and tell the alttitude and then press a button and your plane would follow the exact line with the specified flight level. If there is a way to mod this please let me know so i can try to modify YSFlight to make this possible

Actually, that's got me thinking.
I've spent a lot of time recently playing Oblivion, and a lot of the mods for it are capable of doing things the game never was capable of via a Script Extender. I was thinking you could have a similar style program for YS (think h3csc's Failure Simulator way back on YSP).

It would be necessary for the program to get the key/axis configuration (either from YS itself or user input), then it could act as a programmable autopilot/copilot/failure simulator. It could then access YS's built in autopilot for final landing or something.

There would be no way for it to retrieve information from YS, but it would be able to simulate user input to YS. Possibly a point to point navigation system, random failure modes, the requirement of an engine startup procedure (in this program) before it allows the "throttle up" command to be sent to YS, who knows.

This is just something I thought of this moment, and I have negligible programming experience, so it's not going anywhere with me...

1. There should be a patch that makes it possible to land on user controlled carriers in fariiniq,171st and erict's server
2.If there is a plane which has more than one crew other people should also be able to use it like in a bomber there is a captain and a copilot.
Captain decides when to let the copilot fly and when not and there will be a gunner or more than one if its a gunship.

A half second delay on the search function, meaning after every key press it waits a half second before initiating the search, giving you lagless time to add another letter. That should decrease the lag of it.

A 3-D version of the game which would require glasses.

Fuel levels on the new hud. It's annoying to fly and have to change to the simple hud all the time.

Missions in which choices can be made and for e.g you are doing a delivery mission.
You park the plane outside the drop spot and open doors a guy comes out and drops something out there and then returns to plane.
What I mean by this is to give missions a whole new concept and make them WAY more fun than usual.
