In an effort to have more regular ATC sessions, TB1 and I are going to be hosting semi-regular events called "Tuesday Night Flights" and "Thursday Night Flights".
Every Thursday night that I can, from approximately 8:30PM - 11:00PM (US Central Time)
Day of Week -- Time(s) -- Host -- Server Addresses
Sunday (All Regions) -- 8:00PM - 10:00PM GMT -- Fariiniq -- YS: fariiniq.dyndns.org/TS: fariiniq.dyndns.org
Tuesday (Europe) -- 7:00-9:00PM GMT -- TB1 -- YS: wngz.dyndns.org/TS: wngz.dyndns.org
Thursday (North America) -- 8:30PM - 11:00PM US CST -- Wingzfan99 -- YS: wngz.dyndns.org/TS: fariiniq.dyndns.org
In the event that ATC service cannot be provided on a given night, every attempt will be made to make sure the servers are still up and running.
To provide the ultimate level of compatibility, we'll use only default maps and aircraft to start, and I'll install more civilian planes as we go along.
We'll start this upcoming Thursday (February 17, 2011) for the North American night, and on Tuesday (February 22, 2011) for the European night, 8:30PM! Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!
Currently, we are using the old YSATC Online Operations Guide as the basis of the rules for each event.
Some additional rules will be in place:
If TeamSpeak is not functioning, everyone MUST use F12 chat for their ATC Service. If it is clear that a conversation between ATC and a specific pilot is taking place, please do not interrupt it... if too many people do, the messages begin to disappear, and this may cause confusion.
While on the TeamSpeak server, please do not talk over other pilots or interrupt a conversation with ATC.
Military aircraft are more than welcome to participate -- but the usual rules regarding the engagement of civilian aircraft will be in effect. Military aircraft are expected to comply with ATC in the same way that civilians are. Additionally, military aircraft may be asked to stay in a particular area of the map in order to avoid conflict with civilians.
The use of any plane with an autogunner is strictly forbidden.
For a first offense of any of these rules, a warning will be given. For a second offense, you will be ejected and banned from the server for 24 hours.
