Flakes Construction Yard
So this is what's been happening with Williamtown Beta lately. (YSRAAF only. haha. )
I've broken the map down into "cells". I got the idea from TESIII - Morrowind actually. Why load everything at a time, when I can have just one thing at a time?
The cells dramaticly reduce the fog blur and map shaking glitches. Notice that I am doing the entire continent.
I've also made a low level combat range to fly on, way out in the outback.
Around Newcastle, I've put in a rail line from newcastle to central in sydney. Just a little easter egg. The trains are actually "trucks" and are driven via motion paths. There is going to be a LOT of easter eggs in this map.
YWLM area has a coastal upgrade. A complex sequence involving polygons, areas, thick lines and co-ordinate "snatching".
Sydney harbor is now very existant. I used and edited LBG's "Dark Bridge" from Louisville.
Circular Quey:
Night Time on the harbour. Lights on the bridge as well.
Lights at Williamtown:

And why not try making a line of 8 or 5trucks follow each other they will look like trains then.

Re: Flakes Construction Yard
If God had wanted the army to fly, he would have made the sky brown.
If God meant man to fly, He'd have given us bigger wallets.
If God had meant for men to fly he would have made their bones hollow and not their heads.

Re: Flakes Construction Yard
I'll be adding all the raaf bases first, followed by capital cities, then followed by some small stops, like alice springs and albury.
There is an opera house, KZS's in fact.
Thank you all for your kind words. It's great inspiration to continue.
EDIT: And yes, Hawkstar, the B767 Rescue mission is quite fun! There is a 767, rotated on the z* axis and everything... flames around it (PatrickN for that), and people (BNI).
I have since exported the grounds and relevent scenery into a sperate mission file. Everything will come in packages to stop lag.
EDIT2: Oh yeah, and Tasminia isn't all reject either, M.R.
EDIT3: Only ti'l it's done Gunny.
