Not necessarily. Raptoring is taking advantage of YSFlight's physics to do shit like that. He could very well have just pointed it straight up until he ran out of fuel like in the Thunderbird rockets.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

Grey version of the swing wing (I haven't quite been able to name it yet) - I'm working on ways to paint the camo more easily.

You rock - I just remembered those videos of it fighting cobras and shit - it'll definitely fall in line with the African ground mammals theme as well (Aardvark).

Haha I actually went and googled "aardvark" to see what related animals there were, then went on a Wikipedia quest and landed on the Honey Badger and was like "well, it doesn't get much better than that on the internet".
