[AIRCRAFT] Guardia di Finanza Agusta-Westland AW109N

Post by DavideV »

[mod=Guardia di Finanza Agusta-Westland AW109N][previmg]http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i286/ ... aw109n.jpg[/previmg]
[moddesc=https://sites.google.com/site/davidebas ... ects=0&d=1]This is a pre-release for the Guardia di Finanza's air fleet pack. More helicopters and airplanes will come, then I'll release a complete pack with unpainted and semplified versions too; for now it just has a blank instrument panel. This (as all the G.d.F. aircrafts) is an unarmed helicopter for patroling purposes only.

Completely scratch-built, please feel free to point any bug or problem you may find while flying it.
No prior authorization for repainting is requested.
For any modification such as adding/removing parts or shape remodeling, please ask me first.
Credits for navigation lights goes to Taskforce58.

Enjoy!

This is awesome. I love that it's a little bit unstable, makes flying more interesting.

The one thing I'd suggest is increasing the yaw speed slightly. Not a heck of a lot, maybe up to 60.

Thanks all!

@waspe: how do you manage to have a speed value for yaw? I adjusted the yaw maneuverability constant because I found it too fast...

The post stall section is in degrees per second. Currently it's at 45, but I bumped it to 60 and it felt a little better. (In reality, some helicopters have upward of 100°/s yaw, but that's too hard to control precicely in YS.)

OH LAWD!

some things are just meant for you to be AWED.

If it has a Military version with guns rockets and agm compatibility i'll personally put you in 1 of my top 5 heli modders.

Dude that thing is epicly awesome.

Actually, a version with gun pod, rocket launcher and TOW/HOT missiles (the nearest thing in YS similar to AGMs) exists, is the AW109 LUH. Maybe I could do it....
