How to stick weapons to pylons

Post by Shiny Rice » Fri Oct 07, 2011 6:42 pm

I am doing the FSW-CF Block II and fixed some things, but the pylons that I made aren't exactly "sticked" is there any perl script or progam to do that?

He means the weapons are not touching the pylons.

Then I'd suggest moving the weapons in the dat file.

Either get a small .srf and move it around in the .dnm, or just with trial and error.

After the first load or two, my YSF goes from being clicked on, to the main menu in about 3 seconds, so it's pretty easy to do.

Don't like that way, better something else. Isn't there another way?

Use the DNM2SRF perl script to covert the DNM to a single combined SRF. Load the SRF into gepolyx or gepolyo and find out the coordinates of the pylon hang points. Don't forget to take into account of the weapon's radius.

He literally just gave you the best single solution to your problem and you fucking dismiss it for no good reason whatsoever. That's what we call being an ungrateful prick.
