I have to agree. The 171st stock replacements lag my computer really hard, I only have the .stp files installed of every map, so I can benefit from those.

EDIT:

If you use fld file redirects in your map, why are you making a stock replacement? If I see this right, you would have the 171st stock replacements already, no need for a hi-qual replacement.

I'm going to be making changes to the airports to make them look better. And hope to work on the lag issues, I had no issues flying on it but yet to test online. I'll be going over, redoing, making my own, to all of Icemans work with the stock maps. Over the coming months as I release it version by version you will see a great deal of change.
I'm not making high quality replacements, Just editing and changing the map to suit. You will soon see what I mean, wait and you will be amazed.
PatrickN's Honolulu has replaced the stock/171 Honolulu.

Try limiting the amount of hangers and helipads to a minimum. About 8 171 hangers and 6 helipads is a bit overdone, and I'm only mentioning the main terminal field. These are the objects that lag the most.

Nice idea Vandal, but one question, which sucka... I mean kind YSFHQ member will host the awesome server this map will need :D
"Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. "

Another note, the map is going to be largely fictional I'm changing the looks of the airports and they may be changed by adding aprons or runways to suit the needs of the map.

Here is a new runway design i made. Not much of a difference but it looks cool. 200 lines per 100m.

here is another view of the regional airport. kinda like Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek, MI. Civilian and Military, also I made a fence(ground object) so I don't have to keep going the the .fld and changing the rotation.

Here is a birds - eye view of the regional airport.

That's looking pretty damn good. The one thing I'd suggest is making the water colour a little more grey to fit the rest of the map.

How's that runway look on landing?

Remember Airbourne water basicly reflects the color of the sky so if you have an overcast or dull day water bodys will generally reflect the same.
Unless its the Mississippi in which case it will always be sh-t brindle brown. ;)

Nothin' much a simple Su-47 CEP repaint I deleted the star srf's,painted almost everything blue except a few stuff here and there. It's a repaint for the 57th but I'm going to edit the dat. as well to make it a better dogfighter and a worst ground attacker.

Awsome!
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.
