Re: Origin of your username
Mine should be fairly obvious for anyone who watches NHL hockey
The 99 has no meaning, it's just because "Wingzfan19" was taken on AIM. And isn't it convenient that I also like a game that involves lots of 'wings'?

For a long long long time I thought it referred to the old show "Wings" on the Discovery Channel.

My name is Tim. The x was added because I had already used Timmay for another character on an rpg I used to play.

Yup. they're sorta not really related a whole lot. A few weapons maybe, but not the characters.

Alpha Star comes from the closest star to earth. Alpha proxima. and that is a Star. So there.
Also when you say it fast, it sounds like my name!

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

The closest star to our sun is Proxima Centauri. The more famous Alpha Centauri (a binary system) are the closest stars visible to naked eyes. Proxima Centauri is about 0.2 light years away from Alpha Centauri, and can also be called Alpha Centauri C.

Re: Origin of your username
This is my 3rd username.
1: Backdraft, I got this one from reading a book. A backdraft is...*ahem* a fire that goes out due to a lack of oxygen, but comes back when fresh oxegen comes in. Meaning: I'll always be back.
2: CX505: Random really, just the call-sign of a 747 of Cathay Pacific Airlines that I met a canadian friend on (NO, not Taskforce 58, but my friend Milton.)
3: GimiGlider: Canadians are familiar with this one. I like Air Accidents, but liked the GimliGlider incident best, so...I created this username, but misspelled it, but the name stuck, hence my username.
4: Alaska 261: An Alaskan Aitways MD-80 named aAlaska 261 crashed . More info:

Hope that cleared things up!

Re: Origin of your username
I made a YSFlight Machinima Named Sonic Wing Command, it was crappy, and i took it down, i am rebuilding it, however, but this is the history of my usernames:
1.Razgriz - I was known by this on YSP, since i was a huge fan of Ace Combat, and well, i got ridiculed, as well as having my account screwed over, changing the signature and all sorts of stuff.
2. [Due to personal safety - this has been obfuscated.]
EDIT:
3. Mahora-27
Mainly a Combination of the Name of the Academy from Mahou Sensei Negima (Whose emblem is my Avatar), and the Seat number of my "waifu", Nodoka "Honya (Bookstore)" Miyazaki, in her class (2-A)
EDIT:
4.
My Online Alias that I use pretty much everywhere online. It originated from Second Life when I decided on a Display Name I'd use. Nodoka - Obviously is from Honya (same Nodoka from my last name) and Hanamura, which I picked at random. At first, I knew what Hana meant (Flower) but 'mura' was lost to me - I recently found out it's something along the lines of village, and Nodoka, according to a friend of mine who learnt of its etymology - means Quiet. So essentially - my alias means "Quiet Flower Village". Oh, the Irony.

It's always good to see someone who shares my awesome first name.dustydan1995 wrote:Dusty= Me(Dustin)
And I guess it could be noted that I'm also "d722002" in many forums. It was a random name assigned to me by Yahoo! when I was like 8 years old (you know, back in the good ol' dial-up days). It just stuck.
