[PACK] Chinook Role Pack
[moddesc=http://www.mediafire.com/?8pufa0iiwggxggf]
Included in this pack are 3 different chinooks; 2 RAF HC.2's and one US Army CH-47F, the first one is carrying 2 Jeep's (default by YSMajor so credit to him), the second one carrying a Challanger tank (credits to GAC) and the third one carrying an M6 Linebacker (credits to GAC). This can be activated by pressing "1". The rear cargo door can be open/closed by pressing page up and page down and the door on the right can be opened by pressing F. Original animations by YSMajor from the RNAF chinook along with the original model so thanks to him. Have Fun.[/moddesc]

Re: Chinook Role Pack
Empty, an F-16 is 9.5 tons. Take out the engine and it's 8.5. An Abrams is around 60 tons. Fuck your smugness.

Re: Chinook Role Pack
Probably is, these were made just for an event I'm thinking about and my airshow routine (cargodrop). Thanks.halberdier25 wrote:Is that not too heavy?

Re: Chinook Role Pack
Of course not. Due to the unique way the British Army is funded, all our Challenger 2's are now made of cardboard.halberdier25 wrote:Is that not too heavy?

Re: Chinook Role Pack
And to be perfectly honest, the Chinook is supposed to be only rated
at about 13 tons, but yeah, those could be only target pieces or mock-ups.
Who says they have to be the real deal? Looks like a great piece of fun!

Re: Chinook Role Pack
It's a simple matter of weight ratios. A 7,500hp chopper can't lift a 60 ton tank. Aesthetically it looks weird.Shutter wrote:It's a good mod, and this is a game where many of us fly giant human-like robots.
