Actually, no. The bipod's a basic Harris that I chose for the merit of being low-profile enough that the shooter could fire it with the bipod extended comfortably without exposing a larger silhouette. The weapon itself is an old prototype XM2010, the update of the US Army's M24. .300 Win Mag from a detachable magazine gives it a higher rate of fire and a much longer-ranged punch than rifles in 7.62x51mm/.308. An upgrade to .338 Lapua or .50 BMG would have added unnecessary weigh and undesirable terminal performance, before anyone asks. The new chassis is essentially a Remington-produced pipe-gun but by no means something designed by Accuracy International.Hawkstar wrote:The sniper's a L96, its L96 cause of the recognizable bipod on the barrel.
