[SCENERY] Mariana Islands - South
[moddesc=https://sites.google.com/site/yspmnv/pmnv-maps]The islands here include Saipan, Tinian, and Guam. The airports are close to their real-world elevations.
You will need my new ground pack for this map. In addition to some new ground objects, you will also find improved versions of older objects.

Re: Mariana Islands - South
I was shooting a long final final when I got the whole "fsmainx.exe has stopped working" popup. Every one says this will happen on the PMNV Hawaii however it only happened once to me. It works great on open gl, I just wish my computer could get more than 15fps on open gl any thing. I'm not sure what causes it (the crashes), but this seems to happen only on your maps. No offence, but they don't get along with D3D.Patrick31337 wrote:What happened?aragorn15 wrote:Lovely map. However, I would like to report the first D3D crash. On approach to Won-Pat, too.

On my maps page, which you go to by clicking "Click Here to Download This Pack" in the first post. All of my maps and ground objects are on that page.albertlau128 wrote:hey where can i get the aores.zip or mappack3.zip ?
Oh, yeah. I don't know what the problem is. I made the Hawaii map on a different computer with a different scenery editor, so I don't know why that problem still exists unless it has something to do with one of the ground objects. I never use Direct3D, so its never bothered me, but I wouldn't know where to look to change it anyway.aragorn15 wrote:I was shooting a long final final when I got the whole "fsmainx.exe has stopped working" popup. Re: Mariana Islands - South
For the aircraft, I think it's a dodgy srf or dnm tree.
For the map, probably a dodgy polygon or priority map.
Those are what I think they are... Not too sure though.

Re: Mariana Islands - South
I'm thinking about doing something like the Megadodo map with real world distances between SOCAL, Hawaii, West Japan, Mariana Islands, Hong Kong, St.Marteen... It's going to be a MASSIVE scenario
