[moddesc=https://sites.google.com/site/yspmnv/pmnv-maps]This map includes a collection of my previous maps, along with new airports and locations created specifically for this map. It is large and load times are long.

This map was started over two years ago, although the regions in the map were created over the last several years. This map, like many of my other maps, probably will not work with DirectX for some reason. You will need the new release of my ground objects pack.

NOTES:
1. Wikipedia claims Area 51 is now called Homey Airport.
2.There are not a huge number of start positions in this map because I wanted it to be relatively simple to find where you want to start.[/moddesc]
[instmod]Download USA48.zip or mappack3.zip (list of other maps on my web page).
Unzip
Place user and scenery folders in your YSF folder.
Download pmnvgroundpack.zip
Unzip
Place user and ground files in your YSF folder.[/instmod][/mod]

Thanks for all the hard work Patrick, can't wait to try it out. Someone should try running it on their server. :)

Here's a good map for the new GLVA by Red Eagle cause this map has the Great Lakes, excellent map-hub for the VA and i agree with Pincap2012.

Sorry, guys. I'll be releasing an important update in a few days. Bug fixes include repairing the shore around Fort Morgan, Alabama, and putting the Syracuse start position where it belongs. It will add some start positions, place reloading stations or fuel tanks at every airport with a start position, and clean up the shoreline around Louisiana. I also added the Rio Grande so you know when you are going too far south. ;)

This was a big map and there is a lot of stuff with which to keep up, but I should have had all that done before release. I will post again when I make the change. Consider the current version a preview. :?

Quite stunning, and perfect both for VA use or for any of us who want a mega red-flag exercise...

actually that gives me an idea.

BTW: va guys the charts for the US of A can be found at skyvector.com its a great site, and is simple to use.

The update is live. It works now......

Update later the same day: I just made a very minor update. By minor I mean that Fort Campbell Army Air Field is now somewhat close to how it really should be. I don't know why I didn't make it more realistic before.

Unfortunately a common problem associated with very large scale maps.

From what I understand, YSF simply wasn't designed for maps this large.

I got it to run at a steady 20FPS on lowest graphics settings. Then I tried to kill the statue.
