CX-787

Post by bernholm » Thu Dec 29, 2011 10:35 am

Hi,

I realized Cathay Pacific WASN'T getting a 787.

I thought to myself, "How will I be able to see the beatiful 787 in the majestic CX livery?"

Then it struck me.

There are so many modders on YSFHQ, there's gotta be one that cn do this.

So, here we go.

I am requesting the making of a 787, in the Cathay Pacific livery.

A great Cathay Livery can be found on TF58's B747-463 Cathay Pacific plane.

And an awesome 787 model can be found here: http://s4xuwq.bay.livefilestore.com/y1p ... ck_tda.zip

Just for reference, you might want to try and upload an image of TF58's plane, or of the real life one, just so people know exactly it involves.

Bernholm, can you request something more sensible? Even a Air koryo russian airliner would do.

That doesn't matter at all. I'd love to see this. Boo to you Gimi. :x

Lay off the facepalm images too, you use them too much.

Now now guys, stay on topic. Chill.

Well, I think a Cathay Pacific would be a good addition to the 787's of Ys. I for 1, support this.

Oh I'm quite chill. Just saiyan that this is YSFlight, not the real world, and people push the limits of the real all the time. Bernholm understands this is a fictional work, and I think it'd be awesome. Let's not go "NO NO BAD IDEA" just because it's a fictional livery.

Seriously guys. Flightgear is an official FAA training device but there is a very nice Star trek pack for it. If they can do that to a sim of that high standing, then we can make a fictional livery. Sheesh.

Here. Note that in single-decker aircraft, the big words "CATHAY PACIFIC" go UNDER the big row of windows.

You know doesn't seem to hard I might give it a go once I'm done with the HAVA fleet.
