Re: YSFHQ Dorm
I suggest that the 100's digit and above of your profile number should be your floor (e.g. I am on 5/F, random profile 682 is on 6/F) However, that floor is 001-100, so 501-600 would be on 5/F, 601-700 is on 6/F, etc. if your room # ends in a 00, take the hundreds and above digits, and -1 to get the floor (e.g. #5600 = 56 - 1 = 55/F)
And, since the building is a pentagon, it's 5 sided, and with 100 rooms on each floor, we can have a corridor around the building, 50 rooms facing in, 50 rooms facing out, and with a pentagon shape we have 10 rooms on either side of the corridor on one side. Odd #'s can face in, even #'s can face out. So, I would be on the fifth floor, facing in.
REMEMBER, THIS IS ONLY A SUGGESTION.

Re: YSFHQ Dorm
no, I don't really accept suggestions. I said everyone is on one floor. Everyone has equal access to a window and the main corridor. There is no facing in, facing out, or floor difference between rooms.
I said like THE Pentagon not A pentagon. Its a circle like the Hirshhorn (a way better example building but far less well known) but flat on the ground with an empty area inside like the Pentagon. Doughnut-shaped means circle. However this empty area is not open air-its just part of the building not used for private rooms. All common areas are the doughnut hole.

The cafe is serving bibimbap, bbq pork, black eyed peas, greens and biscuits for a weird Korean/Southern US feast this New Years day.
