"Yeah I bet you'll hera about that one on the internet..."
"Yeah I got a copy of that on tape."
"Damnit..."
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Once I was the ATC for the CaptainYS server. Then 2 people asked to land at Honolulu 26R - AT THE SAME TIME. Unfortunately one pilot couldn't read properly and landed at 26L (even though I screamed my head off at him) and... they were both 747s so a repeat of Tenerife happened.

Oh yes, I remember that clearly. :D

I have something to add to that:

Once we were on the server with TAKA46492 and a couple others, when Taka tried to land at 25-Hachinohe.

(TAKA46492) atc requst to land at hachinohe 25
(Gimiglider_atc) No this is how you say it, *explains*
(TAKA46492) Okay so can I land now?

Nope, on the last one I drew out my imaginary AK-47 and fired a stream of nonexistent bullets through my head...

No you weren't. Yours was just a couple of kids pretending (barely) to "talk ATC" in a game. Besides the amount of unnecessary meme images is too much.
