YSF Sightings

Post by Scarecrow »

Saw a couple Of under class men playing it during lunch today at school on their laptops. I wrote down the address to here and gave them my username in case they needed anything. Pretty cool to sight that. Thought i'd share.

A computer lab in our school has YSF on all the computers as well - they got reimaged and somehow they were formated on all the computers. Not sure how it got on there, probably one of my friends put it on one of them but the funny part is that they are on all of them now.

Now if only we could make a release with mods integrated... but that's essentially impossible due to creditation and a whole bunch of other things.

You could probably toss HQP in with any addons whose creators agree to have credited to the HQ, that way you can say "Addons made by members of ysfhq.com" to keep it simple. Then people could willingly contribute to the expansion of YS without being shackled to the required credit dramas.

I've got my aviation management and flight class stuck to YS now and find them playing on the school computers of flash drives. They go home and visit ysfhq to get their addons, then bring it in and show everyone what they found haha. They always come up to me asking me where I got addons when I bring in my laptop and they of course are interested in my Indy project since we all live here. All goes to say that they are even spreading word in their schools since it's a class that has students from schools statewide.

Where, and at what school, does one find an Aviation Management and
Flight
course? It sounds interesting, and would you be interested in
writing a short (or long) tutorial for the forum on that subject? (or did you
do so already and I missed it?)
I, at least, would be interested enough to read it.

It's actually offered as a high school career development course. That's why my school's career center has kids come in from all over central Indiana to take the classes and many others that are offered. Even if I wanted to, I would not write a tutorial on the course because it's just too long and it's actually a class you would have to take in person.

I got a buddy of mine interested, despite the fact that he is dubious of the graphics.

However I think that showing him this place will change his mind :D
