Re: Your Local Airport
To our airport we receive Qantas, Qantas Link, Air North, Regional Express, Alliance and Skytrans.
Those airlines use;
737-800's
Q400 Dash 8's
Embraer 170's
Fokker 100's
100/200 series Dash 8's
We occasionally also receive military aircraft - just this week we had a Tiger attack helicopter land over near our windsock. Unfortunately, with there only being an army barracks in town; if there isn't a VIP event, etc, then RAAF aircraft don't stick around.
If you can work out where my airport is, without prior knowing where I live, then kudos - I'm at little risk of any physical threat being an armed adult with connections.

Re: Your Local Airport
The aircraft that pass through there are aircraft from small, medium and large. B737 to B747. Ressebe Lufthansa with its B747-500 and your a340. The Britishi which has its B747. The american airlines etc with your B767.
His accident was greater with a cargo aircraft, which near the airstrip lost stability and speed in the air falling on houses.

The large building on the top-left corner of the picture is my office.
If you use the map link and zoom in at the middle of the main apron (the large triangular one) you'll find a large yellow aircraft parked there. That is one of the only two An-2 Colt registered in Canada, C-FAKA, as seen here: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Antonov- ... 1910420/L/
For a couple of years in my university days (I went to Carleton) I used to live under the approach path to rwy 22 (the small GA runway), at the intersection of Uplands Dr. & Paul Anka Dr.Shutter wrote:CYOW. It's a neat little spot.

Re: Your Local Airport
What's even closer to me is Luke AFB, but that's an airbase.
If God had wanted the army to fly, he would have made the sky brown.
If God meant man to fly, He'd have given us bigger wallets.
If God had meant for men to fly he would have made their bones hollow and not their heads.

Re: Your Local Airport
Where I personally fly from is (RAF) Colerne which houses Bristol University Air Squadron and 3 Air Experience Flight. The arrow shows the Hanger where our Grob Tutors are housed and the small apron in front is where all our turn around happens.
I do Gliding from RAF Little Rissington
