United Kingdom Airshow Association (UKAA)
Hello All,
Varren and I, both being from the UK would love to see some more British Airshows. As much as the shows run by Crow and Danny are great, they are infrequently on UK maps. Therefore we have started UKAA. UKAA's aim is to be just as successful as YS Airshows but to give our airshows a more British feel. We look forward to hopefully working closely with YS Airshows to make our future airshows the best they can be.
Our first airshow is coming soon, anyone can come and participate but we are particularly looking for demos such as Typhoons, Red Arrows, Tornados and Harriers. Get practising guys and help us make the first UKAA airshow amazing.
Thank you everyone and I hope you enjoy UKAA's airshows in the future.
TB1.

Re: United Kingdom Airshow Association (UKAA)
YSAS has run several air shows based in UK locations such as Gatwick and Fairford. There was also plan for one to be held in Duxford. Unfortunately with the lack of more maps located in UK, the shows have been limited to those few. We've tried to expand to worldwide locations as a result. I'm glad to see that you guys want to take on virtual air shows located in UK and especially the fact that you want to give them a British flavor. I wish you guys luck and hopefully VNAF will be able to attend some of your shows as well. It's always good to see more air shows on the horizonTB1 wrote: As much as the shows run by Crow and Danny are great, they are infrequently on UK maps.

About the RIAT specifically, I would like to add that given the gigantic nature of the Tattoo, this one should be like one BIG event well planned, lots of teams and solos, flypasts, posters, maybe promo vids and all that stuff to make it BIG like the real deal.Varren wrote:MaybeKilo 11 wrote:RAF Waddington perhaps..?

So what do you say? - RIAT 2012 hosted by UKAA sometime in late Autumn or early Winter? (I know its quite a bit off the real dates but its the best we can do)

Well I agree with Kilo completely, meaning we have to allocate a suitable amount of time to properly plan and organise it so yes it will be in 2012, but probably around November/December.Varren wrote:TB1 wrote:Amen brothaaa
