For sure zak, all of my maps will have a lot of start positions (if Atlantica is any indication :P). By the way, that 747 is pretty cool stuff! I didn't know there was a 747 with dual engine pods. Looking forward to its release.

The dual engine pod 747 was a movie prop from James Bond: Casino Royal.

Also, I was had an idea for a fictional map where people make their own island and we add them all together.... Just an idea I've had for a while.

Looking good. The pods on the outside pylons seem a little small compared to the picture.

I agree with decaff. They seem too tiny. Also, I find your lack of anti-aliasing disturbing...

Map testing in progress. Here's an EK 388 at one of the designated 380-800 gates (because EK flies pretty much everywhere right?), with the Chateau Hills and downtown Mandiola in the background. By the way, do not worry about the FPS, it's not 4.08 :P. It got partially cut off when I cropped the SS, average is around 57 FPS for the daytime, and about 49 FPS at night time. With ground textures on it will go down no doubt but it still won't be too bad.

They say that he feeds upon the tears of newbs, and that he spent an entire day feeding an effigy of Ricm into a desk fan. All we know is, he's called Animal.

Great Guns! For some reason that reminds me of an M-50 "Ontos".
BTW has anyone ever modelled an Ontos, I don't recall seeing one?

Testing some viewpoints and start positions. I thought I might take this shot of a QF 747-400 on short final for RWY 22 at MLA, with the downtown skyline in the distance.

Is MLA supposed to be the Mandiola Airport, on Turbot Island?
And can you give us an image of its supposed location,
I'm right in the big middle of doing the Balearic Islands,
and we may be able to put out a map of them together,
in addition to them being put out seperately.
