Looks like the 171st Saipan map. Really old but really well done and detailed map.

Just finished reading this topic. Spilled my iögo all over my iPwn too.
Yah, I don't think any of my meshes could work as a base for Flashheart's work. I do t think they'd be accurate enough; this is amazing. TF has worked with my meshes, but none of them scale. This'd be why.

The majority of the time, its not the mesh that makes the magic happen. To be honest I think I made a pretty good job of sprucing up the lightning in the oranleed pack in the end. I think that was only about 600kb to begin with. On a different note, I forgot how much stuff I actually had in my addon folders. Found an English Electric Canberra of fair detail that is very close to completion, and a VC10 mesh that is pretty far advanced too.

The Lightning is beautiful. I've always had a soft spot for them.

Is that a Canberra I'm seeing?

*fangirl squeel*

I saw 2 of them as muzeum exhibits back in New Zealand. They were awesome!

When I was a kid there was a Lightning and a Sabre here at CYOO to be restored. I used to watch the staff through the fence, wrenching on those sleds, imagining what it was like to fly them. Of course, at my single-digit age, without interwebs, I'd no idea what kind of planes these were.
Bear in mind, this was here in Ontario, Canada. What the heck was a Lightning doing here?
But that's how I've grown up loving the Lightning.

At present due to the environment i'm subjected to at work i'm becoming more and more fond of Jaguars and Buccaneers and the BAC TSR.2
As for the lightning, who can't love it? Two engines strapped to a seat with noise, fire and death written all over it :D

I wish I could find/recover the GAC-detailed Buccaneer I released on YSP2, but I don't think anyone but me had it. A couple guys kept it on their servers for me, but...

Oh, I've no idea. Mine was painted like XW988. I dunno if anyone emancipated it for other purposes.

Top quality choice of colours haha. We were toying with painting XX900 like at up at Bruntingthorpe. Unfortunately though that idea, along with the Black/hotrod flames idea was disregarded. I think she's due to emerge from the rub next year in 208sqn colours.

Flash, when will the RAF let you work on their current jets? Still not trusted aye?

Can not wait for you to release the Buccaneer, VC-10 and EVERYTHING!!!!!

You know my feelings towards the Bucc, if I could have babies with it I would. Can not wait to get my hands on the bulge belly Bucc to cut the camo and start painting it!!!!!

Hmm I wonder what you would get if you breed a Vulcan with a buccaneer? A Vulcaneer or a buccanvulc?

Owl! Hey, great to see ya again! I hope you and yours are doing well. I've lost every addon I released on YSP2.
Thanks so much for helping me get my old Buc.
