Thunderbirds Run Em' Up!
If we can accomplish enough practice sessions, I'll do some research so we can emulate the USAF Thunderbirds 2012-2013 Routine!
I am extremely satisfied (and surpised!) about how many people have shown interest in the Revival of the YSTB.
Thanks guys!

Re: Thunderbirds Run Em' Up!
I'm currently making a Word Document that will have a home map and an the Aircraft on the Document that I am whipping up for everyone.
One last note Since TB #4 is the Training officer for the Team, He/She will be responsible for setting up the training server While TB #8 will be responsible for negotiating public demonstrations with YSAS.
I'll also be sending a copy of the Document so you guys can enter your respective time zones so I have a better view on setting up the practice dates and times.

Re: Thunderbirds Run Em' Up!
As for the #8 deal, I can act on that role unofficially until someone else can fill in for it. 8 will be our narrator as well so whoever does get that should be able to narrate online. 7 should probably handle the music.
Your timing for this couldn't have been more perfect for me. I am in Daytona Beach and have just met pretty much all the Thunderbirds and have seen their operations here all week. I even got a couple cool questions answered about planning for show sites, weekly/daily operations, etc. I'll probably use my spare time to whip up something to help get this going. We've already got nice planes to use, though we could go for at least one F-16D repaint for the media flight.

Re: Thunderbirds Run Em' Up!
I live in Tampa, FL just in case you didn't know, sorry for not saying that earlier. The idea for an F-16D is a sweet idea, I may be able to either make a Thunderbird F-16D for those Media Flights.
I'll ask Kurosaki for permission To paint an F-16D Of his. If I cant I'll see if I can request one in the request forums.
So You want to Be the Lead Solo (Official) AND the Narrator (Unoficial)?
We'll get it to work !
I agree with the Idea on #7 Handling the music as well, I am making the list of music to be used in the routine as we speak.
Im making a large manual for the team, It will include the Show Routine from the 2012 Season (Our shows will go according by recent years)
So you'll need to memorize the Manual, If you don't know the routine by heart.
Glad to have you on the Team!

I'll need a bit of practice to get perfect again, but do reasonably well at wing at the moment. I can also do line abreast, something many can't do.

I'll take that, if there's no one else.OfficerFlake wrote:I'll take #2. Give #4 to someone a little less experienced.

Oh also, not to Usurp the boss, but if for any reason Basco wants to step down as lead, I'll be happy to move into the #1 spot for you all. We won't die again.

Does that mean that that'll be the only thing I'm doing? Will I still be flying with you people?Basco wrote:One last note Since TB #4 is the Training officer for the Team, He/She will be responsible for setting up the training server.

Re: Thunderbirds Run Em' Up!
So do you disagree on Basco's idea or my point? I'm slightly slow on making heads or tails of your reply.OfficerFlake wrote:I disagree with that, Let's just keep it simple. There is no need for a flight surgeon or a training officer. The training aspect should be YOUR job.
On the plus side though, I do get a custom plane.
Make that morning practices. I can only play in the evenings, which is the afternoon for people in GMT and morning for US people.VNAF ONE wrote:The only problem is Flake is in Australia and NightRaven is in Singapore (according to the flag). This means that we'd either have to set up morning or late evening practices which would basically be one or another for all of us anyway.

Re: Thunderbirds Run Em' Up!
I'll have to coordinate the practice sessions so we can get the most out of them.
Here's how then practice sessions should go down. How I've seen:
The Diamond Pilots 1-4 practice the diamond maneuvers
The Solos 5-6 Practice separately.
Reason to this is so we minimize the chance for distractions.
When The Solos perfect their part of the demo, and the diamond pilots as well perfect their side of the demo
we will then bring them together and do a full practice with both solo and diamond pilots.
Just throwing that out there, seems like it could work.
Tell me what Time Zones you are in, so I can find the best times to practice when everyone is free.

I am in Las Vegas, that should help you figure out your time and my time practice starts. And what server will we be practicing on?
