Singapore-Malaysia map
I've measured the size with Google Maps, and it is roughly the size of Hawaii. There is quite a bit of international airports and military bases in the area (bound to be near 20) so technically it should be as low lag as the Hawaii map.
Any modders who is interested in making this map shall receive my thanks.

Re: Singapore-Malaysia map
How far outside of Singapore are you asking about,
North, South, East and West?
If you are referring to the entire peninsula we call Malaysia?
That would be a huge undertaking along with the islands nearby.

Re: Singapore-Malaysia map
Well of course. Indonesia is comprised of 18000 islands, so anyone who actually makes one would be a person who is talented (in a sense) and has tons of time. Just so you know.Gennaro wrote:Wow I'm looking forward for someone to make this , I second this request . Don't try and extend it to an Indonesian map though or you're gonna have a hard time , trust me I tried.

Oh and Malaysia is much bigger than Hawaii, its nearly 550 miles from top to bottom, whereas hawaii is maximum 350miles from the east to west

Re: Singapore-Malaysia map
But the length difference isn't that substantial. This is the Hawaii map.
And this is the Malaya map.
It's only difference of 100 kilometers. I don't think it will cause extra lag though.
I don't want to start an argument, so please stop saying that I have calculated wrongly.

Re: Singapore-Malaysia map
I've seen one map, made by the same person that did the Grand Canyon map, that was called an experimental or test map, that is larger than the one requested and it works just fine. I'm not at my computer so I don't have it in front of me. I think Gunny may be able to recall it though.

Hmm I don't really want to have an awkward strip of land. It may also make it extra laggy.can wrote:please extend to thailand

Re: Singapore-Malaysia map
new stage:building ground objects and add into the scenery
added terrains into the scenery (uses same method as Taiwan's map)
rebuild KLIA and Changi, map scale matched with the terminals
upgraded Langkawi island with roads (also will become as standalone scenery later for airshows)
the last one in the list,Tengah AFB (the taxiways also connected to the road nearby)
added the airports into the scenery (except KBR for some alterations which is extra space of VA hangar requested by @Heartbreak One's brother)
ground objects completed:
KLIA2 terminal completed
fire station for KLIA
the KLIA ATC towers (Main,KLIA2,Apron)
MAS hangars
Changi's enormous terminals
Changi ATC Tower
another scratch-made,Subang Skypark Terminal
current filesize of the .fld: 1.5 megabytes

Re: Singapore-Malaysia map
as you noticed on Discord or Tigershark's FB group YSFlight Addons,I'm currently back on the scenery
and I also shrunk the scenery size to 1.8km X 1.8km per rectangle polygon,so that means redesigned terrains
(you couldn't shrunk that one apparently)
it means the ground objects department are currently halted, and need help on Singaporean buildings that need to be make too since the Changi terminal and the tower is the only one I had so far, maybe general buildings
(no so much but major but the well known),hangars and possibly aircraft shelters (if that's keep in secret,I'll understand)

and the shaded one is not yet plotted (if you guys wondering about it)
