Q: True conditions of successfully loading .acp files

Post by DD-Destroyer » Thu May 09, 2013 12:53 pm

I'm going to crazy with loading .acp successfully. Actually I don't know what my work's error. I got all files, conditions, directory, and formats. But, YS Flight always says "Failed to load aircraft carrier". I tried everything I can do. Finally, I'm asking here.

I want to know about true conditions of loading .acp. I need all conditions and it will be helpful to others.

1. True condition of deck.srf file
2. True condition of wire.srf file
3. True condition of catapult.srf file
4. True condition of bridge.srf file
5. True condition of Arrestingwires position.

and...

This is what I'm fighting with. If you could, please analyze this.

The deck and catapult SRF must consist of only ONE polygon.

Is this still true for carriers with ski jumps?

Ah forgot about the new sloped-deck feature, as I haven't really looked at the latest versions of YS for a while. The deck file for the HMS Invincible and also the various new bridges has multi-polygons. However it has a new "GF" line at the end of the SRF which I have no idea how it works. I think It looks like a list of polygon index.

Pretty sure the catapult SRF still needs to be single polygon.

Maybe "Single Polygon" condition is only for same altitude. There are multi floors ground object like at Polarmar.

Ski jump can understand in like this mechanism
