New pilot looking for squadmates

Post by Mobiyus » Mon Mar 10, 2014 9:39 pm

Hi there fellow pilots, I'm new to YS Flight, and I wish to join an active squad. I see there is a lot to choose from, and I'm a lil lost. Which squads are active? Which squad will suit my needs?

So here I am. I'm looking for active squad (at leats 1-2 ppl logged each day) that does group training (I need it), and various group missions (like bombing run, defend base and stuff). I can dogfight, but would rather pilot a bomber. I have no joystick (using mouse as joystick), and I have TS. I expect from squad members to be kind and supportive (no arseholes plz)

On my end, I will follow orders of my superiors to the letter and provide support you can trust.

I am no engineer, but as an aviation enthusiast, I already know the basics of flying and combat maneuvers, I just need to train to do them in YS FLIGHT :)

Reply here if interrested!
See you guys up there

Great to see you're interested in combat Mobiyus. The 323rd Expeditionary Air Wing (EAW) is a European Based squadron in YSFlight. The squadron organises group events every other weekend with regular training for new recruits. If you are interested in applying please note our max training capacity which means you may be put on a waiting list before a place becomes available.

It's not just the 323rd, there are other active squadrons too. I would write about them but it's not my responsibility to recruit for other squadrons.

Best of luck. ;)

Nice, thanks for the reply! I was hoping north-american squad tho, cuz it's where i am! Bet hey, I'm willing to give it a try anyway. I often play during euro hours on week-end.

What are the requirements (addons)?
dedicated TS server?

The main TS that people use is the HQ TS3 server
YSFHQ Elected Overlord
Overlord of VMFA-125 (CVW-171)
Previously Supreme Overlord of 323rd CAW
Friendly Neighbourhood Miscreant

If you see me post like this in a thread pay attention!

There's also the 57th Cloud Rippers, of which I am the CO. We've been going through a period of inactivity and some new pilots would be great to get active again. We had a couple of members from North America, but I'm in Europe.
We still could coordinate pretty well. Our fleet has a futuristic theme and is quite varied and abundant. Here's a link for it: http://ysu.ysfhq.com/download.php?id=1021

"We rip those clouds apart so you can see the sun!"
Now 100% more decomissioned!

it just better go to the 323RD Mobiyus. They trained you nearly every day or week.

Just to say, I've found my role in the 501st Cross Squad, a small but reviving WW2 squadron. They are online around the same time of day I am; are fine folks and i love WW2 warfare, so it seemed logical to join them :)

Thank you all for reading my post, and see y'all on the battlefield!
