Ok - got the guns on now........ 12 cannons - 4 in the nose and 2 on each of the engines.

-- Thu Apr 17, 2014 1:10 am --

Had to drop it to 8 guns as YSFlight only supports up to 8. So only one above each engine.

There are 4 in the nose, it just looks like there is 2 - trying 2 fix that

At the moment it has 20 of anything - but if all goes to plan it will have at least 60 of whatever you want. Then I've got plans for a bomb bay...... ;)

Those are Perl scripts and require ActivePerl to work. Unfortunately I have no idea how to make them work as ActivePerl refuses to install on my computer.

well, if all you want is for it to carry weapons and to change maneuverability, cant you just change them in the dat?

while you can add pylons, theyre cosmetic and would do nothing towards achieving your original post's goals.

edit: herp derp didnt read the second page before posting. but ill leave this post here anyway

Unshadow and a bunch of other useful scripts are in the YS Paint Kit at the bottom of this page on the wiki.

Ok! Got the shading sorted out, though I couldn't really understand those scripts, so I did it another way.
All is ready except bomb doors and cockpit.
So, opinions needed! How should I do the cockpit? Leave it as it is and just add the necessary dials? Or just use a blank one + HUD? Or or or????
Thanks for suggestions!

PS: Sorry, this is taking far too long

You open Unshadow, drag a srf or dnm into the box, and it creates an unshadowed version of the srf or dnm.

I think a blank one and HUD would work fine for the application, it also sounds easy to do. Or you could leave it as is, because you can just hit ctrl and select the option to use a HUD at all times.

Also, don't worry about taking up a lot of time. This isn't a project you should feel you need to rush yourself over :)
