[LINUX]HELP! YS server on linux trouble

Hello!
I'm trying to set up a YS server on my dedicated linux box, but i cant really start it up...
these are the files in the folder, how to start it up?
aircraft/ ground/ netchatlog/ ysflight
bundle/ language/ plugin/ ysflight-consvr
config/ misc/ scenery/
document/ mission/ sound/

It'd be best to ask Eric for help on that one, i think. He seems to be the one to go to for help with Linux. Me, however, i've only barely touched the thing.

You need to cd to your YS directory (e.g cd /home/varren/Desktop/Ysflight) and then run ./ysflight-consvr in terminal. This will allow you to run a server from the terminal interface.

thank you. Varren, i tried exactly that, and it did not work, so i reinstalled, and now it works perfectly

Okay, now that i got it to work, i threw in my files for the aircraft but now i get loads of cannot load errors and the server aborts?

Linux is case sensitive, check the lsts have user instead of User (or vice versa).

Varren is right, I use Ubuntu Linux and when I install some addons I have to modify the .lst files to get everything working. Takes ages.
