7 US Navy Blue Angels F-18C/D Hornets
1 C-130 "Fat Albert"
3 Extra 300/330 from John Klatt, Sean Tucker, and Michael Goulian
2 MXS/MX2 from John Klatt and Rob Holland
1 Pitts S-1 from Skip Stewart
1 Jet Waco from John Klatt
1 Piper Seneca
1 Piper Arrow
6 Black Hawks
The rest would fill up a topic of their own. If you ever get the chance, the Thursday before your local air show is the day to really see the jet teams (T-birds/Blue Angels) spend a lot of time in the air. Saw a total of 3 1/2 hours of Blue Angels today alone and spoke to some of them and the other air show pilots. "All you have to do is ask . . . " - a bunch of people giving me the same advice and me finally listening. Great day today and 3 more to go . . . tired.

A bunch of AWACS and a few KC 135s on their way to Tinker. I do like the north winds!

Just this week, I've spotted 1 C-130 alone, and 2 C-130s, one trailing the other. They were pretty low!

I saw an Osprey going full bore while getting some lunch a couple days ago. Funny looking thing, what with the engines on the wing tips and all.

I live right next to a regional rirport, so I figured I should take a few pics to show you guys what I see everyday. It's a small airport and there's only one runway. I don't know the exact name of the aircraft taking-off and landing there, but I've seen single props aircrafts, helicopters and gyrocotpers. This was taken an hour ago with my crappy cellphone without zoom function. I stayed there about 10 min. I am not on the property itself, I standing at the fence and placed the camera so I could see through it.

bump

This is not so recent-ish, so please ignore my violation of the topic name.

So a month ago, my parents dragged me to the beach so they could exercise without me camping at home and spamming my com. So they forced me to do my homework/revision for my 'O's (which is in 25 days, btw) while they were away. Since the beach is quite close to Changi Airport, I decided to take note of the aircraft on final approach.

Did I mention it was National Day?

I got 2 more images, both of which weren't so good. ImageImage Reckoned it was flying below 500ft.

I'm not a nationalistic person, but hey, pride and all, in 1 moment.

It eventually came back going the other way, escorted by 2 Apaches. Sadly I couldn't get an image cos I was in the toilet...

Yesterday (not today :?), me and my class were all sitting in school when this growling comes from above. It gets louder, passes over, but none of us saw it. In about 30 minutes, however, we were all doing work when this speck can be seen. It resolves itself into a RNZAF NH-90. As I live quite close to an RNZAF training area, it didn't come as much of a surprise.
Still pretty cool though.

I saw several interesting types today, including a B-25, 17 North American T-6 Texans, 4 T-28 Trojans, and a TBM Avenger, but the real kicker was the only flying Sea Harrier FA2.

I saw a Sea Harrier on ebay a year or two ago, just couldn't muster up the cash for such a thing...

Anyhow, I spotted somewhere around 5-10X UH-60/AH-64/OH-58/CH-47... Same traffic I've been spotting for the past 7 years. Oh, I also spotted a Lear35 and a Lear45 on approach.

We have NE winds today so we're getting some traffic 8going to KTIK. I just saw a B-52 go pretty much over my house on an eight-mile final to RWY 36. Flaps and gear was extended as well.

I saw a small, twin-engine plane at a distance flying over Martin. I'm pretty sure, based on the shape and checking the local airport on Flight Aware, it was a Piper Seneca.

Well it's a Local Airport not an International Airport so you can rarely see the BIG TIME AIRCRAFTS! :)

I saw one of the coolest sights around here in a while about half an hour ago. A Lockheed C-130 followed by three V-22 Ospreys were headed in formation NE-SW going east of my area, then went south of here headed in a SWtrly direction. Then a few seconds later I heard a loud buzzing approaching, and the aircraft soon appeared in my south window - a C-130 Gunship, going at a fair speed as if to catch up to that formation that passed earlier. Pretty neat! I'm not sure if this was a sortie or practice or what, but it was great to watch.

I saw a PC-12 for the first time and flew really low. Wish I had my camera at the time.
