New kid on the block

Hi fellow aviators!
I am new here but by no accounts new to YSF, been using it for QUITE a while!
I'm a student in India
I LOVE Sukhois, especially the 30MKI, 37 and 47.
My favourite aviation innovation is vectoring nozzles!
I LOVE to engage in missile fights and am not really fond of dog-fights.
I've always wanted to join the IAF but can't because I wear glasses.... :(
I also like using aviation language LOL and flying in formation for missions
And I am considering joining a squadron to gain much more experience...

I'm Patrick. It's always nice to see new folks joining the community. Once you learn the rules and get familiar with us all, you'll find there are lots of opportunities to have fun around here. We've got air shows, virtual airlines, fighter squads, and there is always room for more addons if you like such things. Maybe we'll meet in the virtual skies sometime.

Hey there! Glad to see you getting started with an introduction. It's a great way to jump start us getting to know you and vice versa.

I gotta admit that Sukhois have a certain elegance to them, but I love American jets to much to join the 'dark side' :lol:

It's too bad that you can't get into the IAF with those glasses. A friend of mine went through the same thing with the US Navy.

Welcome friend.I had the same vision problem when I was young many many moons ago.So I went with plan B getting a civilians pilots license.If your passion is flying than you will find a way.But for now this is a great place to fulfill your fighter pilot fantasy's.Have fun :D

I wear glasses, too. Can't see much past my nose without them.
