Pretty interesting, nice to see a somewhat minimalist approach to an addon.

^ Is that a dirt runway strip I'm seeing? If it is, then neat!

Gravel. There seem to be a lot of gravel, coral, and bituminous runways in that area.

Much better.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

So I finally got around to some YSFlight stuff. Here are a few things I did during my free time the past year (mostly the trains):

This is my fictional version of Hunter AFB. I had an old one a mile north of here but it is a lot more realistic here. Also, don't worry about the default coloring or words under/around the base. I have some default colors on just so I know where lakes, fields, etc... are before I color them in.

Thank God for the copy/paste element option!

My favorite engine in with my favorite paint job: SD40-2.

Burlington Northern Hi-Cube Boxcar.

3-Bay Closed, Ribbed Hopper Car.

Autorack, probably going to make a bulk of these in different schemes.

This guy right here is like 100kb.

Very great job on that map and those trains! Those things are being built up pretty quick. Can't wait for them to come out! :)

Nice work, Airbourne. I was up near Rockford on two different occasions (one flying, one driving), and drove by during AirFest. I thought of ya' and your map!

I think that there is an attitude indicator which could replace yours if you wanted to. But that looks really good as is!

To give an idea of what I'm working on here, this is an Excel sheet of all the airports in the Bahamas.
[spoil]Image[/spoil]
The ones with darkened boxes are finished. The one with the X simply no longer exists in any form as far as I can tell. The rest are still to be made. This is going to be a pretty big map (about 500x500 miles) with 63 airports ranging from large, international airports to short air strips on private islands.

That. Is. Epic. Can't wait for that :)

--- EDIT 10:57 PM 7/7/2014 ---

I have some decent eye candy for some of you. I give you Helforn Regional Airport! Yes it sounds like a real place but it's fictional, so if you already thought of searching it up on google, you would get random other results.

Overlook of the whole airport
Image

Finally getting used to making elevation grid trees myself, and they can turn out to be pretty smooth. Even all of those still gives me about 60 FPS! Lots of credit towards Airbourne for the parking lots and the mini trees near the lots :)
