After enjoying some fried okra, Copper prepares to go outside to hunt spiders... Because he can't think of anything else to do...

(I actually wen't out to eat the other day, and what do you know? They had fried okra! And yes, it is good.)

I have a ton of okra in my kitchen. I'm going to wash it, slice it, and freeze it. This fall I'm making gumbo!

US Federal housing laws forbid discrimination against families. That means it really is none of our business where the babies come from because we can't have a "no children" or "singles only" policy. :lol:

In other news, I canned another quart of pickled okra today. Prepare for the salty-sour sliminess.
