[PROGRAM] Navigation Planner

Post by TB1 » Thu Jul 19, 2012 6:31 pm

A brilliant bit of kit to use alongside YSFLIGHT.

Instructions on how to use here: http://raptorial.jp/asameshi/script/nav ... ndex.shtml

To install download and install activeperl here: http://www.activestate.com/activeperl/downloads

After installing activeperl download the Navigation Planner software here: http://raptorial.jp/asameshi/script/navplanner.zip

In the navplanner.zip, copy the application and pl files into your ysflight directory and then run the application.

Dear TB1;
Thank you for this post. I have downloaded the necessary programs/files...but, not being so computer tech-savvy, I do have a question. I don't understand where to copy and paste the application and pl files. Are you talking about going to the C-Drive, Programs, YS Flight and simply pasting them in there. Please help!
...and thanks, in advance, for your anticipated help and guidance. :)
Sincerely,
John

Hey John,

Sorry for the slow replies, I've been away. Copy the files into the YSFlight folder where your aircraft folder is located.

Cheers,

TB1

Fixed broken links.

In the .zip file, you should find navplanner.pl - just run this on Linux (with your perl interpreter, don't bother with activestate perl) and it should launch fine. Note that you need to have Tk installed beforehand.
I make this website.
