@ najmicreative

I like the look of that map so far. I can definitely see the influence of the stock maps. Keep up the good work!

yup....but actually i also use the gradation strip to make sandy beaches but so far, just the west coast part already made the strip...in 12-15 hours I will continue to add the gradation strip on the east coast part....and I already added some airports from the east coast part from Kelantan to Pahang(Kota Bharu,Gong Kedak AFB,Kuala Terengganu,Kerteh and Kuantan[both civil airport and AFB because it shares a runway like the Subang AFB])and I will continue to make more airports from state of Johor and then goes to the west coast airports(both KLIA and klia2 has done) till the last one which is the Langkawi Intl. Airport....

I think about 1/3 of the active members at HQ already know where I'm going with this. I just need ideas for a 1940s-style logo based on the current NatComAir logo.

Circles, bird wings, triangles and shields were all very popular around that time period.

Someday I'm going to have to learn how to make text in Blender. PFE has too many limitations.

Scarecrow, the issue isn't with fonts. I've got plenty of them. The issue is in shaping the letters. I used the "rainbow" effect, but I had hoped for a sharper curve.

Don't be so disappointed Pat remember it is from the late 30s and early 40s when logos on planes where still hand painted. And it definitely looks hand painted as it should ;)

Any suggestions on a good font for "National and Commuter Airlines"?

Just look back at the previous version of the logo and you will see how far it has come. Some day I'll double the vertices on the circle portion and make it slightly smoother.

In other news, I started the paint job on the Constellation. I'm going to use the same livery on all the planes in the Classics fleet.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

I still have to repaint the gear doors and add lights and logos, but you can get an idea of what it will look like:

That's looking great Patrick. A very "classic" livery.
