I wasn't happy with the blue paint behind the cockpit on the Super Constellation, so I reworked it.
I moved it a little lower and was able to increase the size to 135% of what you saw in that picture.Gunny wrote:The font looks just right Pat.But if I could make a suggestion increase the size of the logo on the Connie's tail by about 25% hopefully not encroaching on the control surfaces.
ok.....I will update the list in the YSFlight Wiki.....Patrick31337 wrote:I moved it a little lower and was able to increase the size to 135% of what you saw in that picture.
Also, I've started work on TF58's GAC DC-3. I'm going to add moving parts. I liked this model best because it was smoother and more refined than the others, even though I've got to cut out my own parts.
I looked through pictures of DC-3s and found a few with painted engines, so it was done. That was the one thing I wanted to keep from the main NCA fleet, that the engines are painted. Looking back, though, I might change it. We'll see. I've got a long way to go before I will be ready to release the new pack. I still have to go back and replace the Bush Frontiers Cub with my new version with moving parts, too.Hawkstar wrote:I would remove the paint in the engines but that's just my opinion. It just looks more similar to the old air planes that the fuselage is painted. Atleast in my recollection.
I found some pictures that showed the workings of the flaps pretty well. I made the ailerons just a little too long, but not too bad I hope. I might go back and change them, or I might not. It depends.Av8Tor wrote:Pat - I believe that the DC3 has flaps that are on the underside of the wing. If you would like, my grandfather flew the DC3 for Eastern Airlines back in the day... I could call him and ask him about some of its behaviors and characteristics.

I've recently got back from a 4 month stint in the Falkland Islands with the RAF, and i had a fair bit of spare time on my hands, and well, i think i put it to reasonable use...
...
I'll release the lot soon enough, just need to go over a couple of things in my pack and get it into some sort of order
