[Scenery] Indianapolis Regional Airport

Post by VNAF ONE » Thu Dec 25, 2014 10:32 pm

Welcome to Indianapolis!!!

Image

This is the Official release of the Indianapolis Regional Airport scenery for YS Flight!

This release includes 3 versions of the airport for summer, harvest season, and winter.

The air show version is set in summer and represents the layout of the once annual Indianapolis Air Show. The harvest and winter versions provide different settings for fun flying on this small, but nicely detailed map. There are also some extra features in the map that you all may find after looking around a bit. This map represents my home air show (which I really miss). My house is included (see if you can find it). Though it is quite small, I hope to use this map in conjunction with some others to create the rest of Indianapolis so hold on until then!

CREDITS: Taskforce58 and Airbourne's ground objects will be needed for full detail of this map.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays YSFHQ!!!

Hey There,

Will The Brickyard Speedway be included in one of the future maps?

David.

Yes, when I expand the map, I'll include the Brickyard, Raceway park, Downtown, etc. It's my home city so I'll throw in everything that matters. I've currently got IND, EYE, and 2R2. Just need the Metro and Greenwood airports and then I can focus on the scenery.

By the way, the Inbound start points are on the ground instead of the air.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

Nice map but I won't update. I am getting 6-7 FPS out of it while old version gives me 33 FPS even with 5 solid quality aeroplanes flying around. It's definitively time to get a new computer.

Hmm, that's quite odd considering I made some changes to reduce the possibility of lag. It's also a fairly small map. I've never seen more than a 1 or 2 fps drop on the final product while flying around an HD aircraft (I usually get between 60-64 fps normally).

Yeah...this laptop runs Flash's Typhoons at 68-70fps.
